What is Hypnotherapy?

'Hypnosis' or 'trance' is a natural state of mind. We are all familiar with trance and go in and out of it many times during the day; whilst driving, walking or watching the television for example.

During our sessions, we use 'solution focused' techniques and combine both psychotherapy and hypnosis in order to bring about the changes that our clients are working towards. The tools that you walk away with from each session will benefit you for a lifetime, whilst the application of hypnosis will enable your sub-conscious mind to make positive and beneficial changes.

Hypnotherapy is both relaxing and effective. Interestingly, whilst in trance, our brains work FOUR TIMES harder than usual to process information and establish solutions. When we are in trance, we have a heightened awareness and are much more susceptible to suggestion. This deep state of relaxation offers new mindsets and attitudes to thrive.
